Did you ever notice that when you first buy a computer it's lightning fast and then over time it slows down little by little until you can barely deal with it anymore? Thankfully, programs are out there to remove this spyware and even to protect you from ever getting it in the first place.
There are free programs out there that appear to be working and may help some but, there are several problems with this type of software. First of all its a free download. Free software may have been the cause of your original infection and now your going to try and fix it by downloading more free programs? Secondly, these programs usually do get rid of some spyware and help the speed of your computer slightly but, they never seem to get it all. You can run 3-5 separate free anti-spyware programs one after the other and they will all detect spyware that the previous programs missed. Therefore, you can see obviously, these programs are not as thorough as advertised.
The way to a faster and spyware free pc is through quality products produced by reputable companies. These companies put in the time, research and development it takes to fight and remove spyware. Spyware is getting smarter everyday so the programs to remove and prevent it need to be just as smart, if not smarter. After all, what good is your PC if it barely works. For this reason, I recommend spending a little money on a quality product to protect your information and make your pc lightning fast again.
